Developed in cooperation with the Ottawa Art Gallery, this online toolkit explores concepts like diversity of Indigenous culture and the impact of colonialism through art by Jaime Koebel (Metis) and Barry Ace (Anishinaabe). This course (!) was developed by FNESC for grades 5-9, but elements of it can be integrated into both Science 8 and 9 (particularly in relation to geological processes, climate change, and ecological systems). There are explicit cross-curricular links for each section that line up with Bc curricula for SS and ELA.
