A Dog's Way Home by W. Bruce Cameron

This book is about a boy named Lucas who finds a loving dog that he adopts and takes care of. That is, until he has to leave for work far, far away. But his dog isn't giving up - she is trying to find her way back!

One thing I liked was that Lucas is very caring towards animals, both his dog and the wild cats. Everyone deserves to have a happy and caring life! I didn't like that the poor dog had to run away and became lost and had to fend for herself.

I would recommend this book to someone who likes animals or who likes reading about kindness!
