Overall Rating: 8/10

A presumed dead child that was pulled from the river comes back to life. Many lay claim to this unknown little girl for different reasons. The story takes place in Old England...

The torment for many characters keeps the reader wanting to know how they make out in the end. The beginning of the book is full of introductions to many characters, so it is a bit daunting to read.

I would recommend this book to an older audience or a mature student that can appreciate more complex vocabulary.
